In a surprising collaboration that defies conventional predictions, Ubisoft has announced an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Mission Uncovered

According to the formal announcement, "A mysterious meeting leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where whispers of forbidden rituals and monstrous transformations resonate through the obscurity." The plot features a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who charges the pair with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a clandestine group.

The questline centers on "bizarre tests and a monstrous foe" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Iconic Settings and Transformations

The preview showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser concludes with a powerful scene showing a character, presumably the captive, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
